When we polled our LA customers on cool stores that would be a good fit for our products, almost everyone recommended The Cheese Store. It is in a little courtyard on the main drag of Silverlake full of cute shops, and offers an incredible selection of gourmet items such as charcuterie, baked goods, wine, oils etc. on top of their famous cheese selection. The owner grew up in Rhode Island, and Eric, who was born in Providence, was happy to see they sell Del's lemonade mix there, among some other Ocean State treats. Monsieur Marcel is a great gourmet shop in Fairfax Village/Farmers' Market in Hollywood. This is a very special area of open market shops that makes for a delicious culinary adventure any day of the week. Monsieur Marcel has a wonderful selection of imported specialties, cheese, wine, hot foods to go, a French deli, and wonderful gift baskets.
